At the end of  2006, St Cuthberts House received a lot of publicity as I made my solemn profession as a Hermit of the Diocese of Nottingham.  These links will take you to pages showing the newspaper and television coverage of the event.

As a result of this work I was contacted in 2007 by the Church Times, in 2009 by the Guardian newspaper requesting interviews, in 2011 by an Italian photographer undertaking a project about hermits, and in 2012 by BBC Radio 4 Sunday Programme.  These articles and photographs can be viewed by following the links below.

The Guardian sent a photographer for their piece in 2009.  There cannot be many hermits who can boast of having their photo taken by the guy who takes the team photos for Manchester United.  Fabio de Paolo.  Who else!

Carlo Bevilacqua, an Italian photographer, contacted me in 2011 to ask if he could visit to take photos for his project   Into the Silence: Hermits of the Third Millenium.  He also taught me how to make tortilla!

Richard McIlroy from the BBC Radio 4 programme Sunday, requested an interview in 2012.  It is available here as an MP3 file.
